In 2008, Dr. Gerd Kaiser got his diploma from the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe. In 2015, he received his PhD from the Hamburg University of Technology in the topic of Linear Parameter Varying Control for Torque Vectoring Systems. After working two years for EFS GmbH, Dr. Kaiser joined GKN in 2017 and is currently responsible for control system developments inside vehicle integration and control – specialized on electric drive systems. Since 2019, he is the project leader of the GKN Technology Demonstrator: “All Wheel Twinster Hybrid System.

Simon Kaimer | Global Product Manager AWD 4WD Attributes and Function, Magna Powertrain

Simon Kaimer started in 2002 his professional career at Magna Powertrain in Lannach as Development Engineer and was responsible for Prototype Procurement. Then after he worked three years in the area of vehicle and component control. In 2008 he became team leader for Demovehicle Build up, Application and Presentation.
Before he became Global Product Manager AWD&4WD he was Global Manager for Demonstration Vehicle and Vehicle Presentation for five years. His current position is Senior Global Product Manager for Product Attributes and Vehicle Function AWD&4WD, Axles and eDrives.

Benedikt Locker received his diploma in mechatronics in 2011 from University Erlangen.
In 2012, he began his professional career at Schaeffler Technologies GmbH & Co. KG first as a specialist for central development and then for the development and integration of the entire vehicle. Since 2016 he is part of Schaeffler AG where he is responsible for special projects motorsport. This includes the implementation of Formula-E component tests and project management of the Schaeffler4ePerformance set-up.

All lectures will be translated simultaneously in German and English.
